Your family's memories never train AI

We use AI for one thing: serving your family. It transcribes the voices, writes the keepsake versions of stories, and answers your questions about your own vault. Your photos, videos, recordings, and stories are never used to train AI models, not by us, and not by our AI providers, whose agreements with us exclude training on your content. AI runs on your family's memories for your family only.

You can take everything with you, anytime

Every vault can be exported in full, for free, whenever you want: your photos, your videos as ordinary MP4 files, the original voice recordings, every story as a readable text file, and a spreadsheet index of the whole archive. Open formats, no lock-in, no paywall in front of your own memories.

And if Ourtifacts ever winds down, our commitment is simple: every family gets their complete archive delivered before anything is turned off. We already built the machinery that does exactly this (it runs today whenever a family deletes a vault: every owner is emailed a full copy first). Nothing about our business depends on holding your memories hostage.

No ads. No selling. No audience.

There are no ads in Ourtifacts and no advertising trackers. We do not sell your personal information, your memories, or anything derived from them, to anyone. Our business model is boring on purpose: families who love the product pay for a plan. That's it.

There is also no feed to perform for. No likes from strangers, no public profiles, no discoverability. A vault is a private place for your family, not content.

You decide who sees what

A vault is invite-only. Every person you invite gets exactly the access you choose: some can see everything, some can add memories but only see their own, some can only view. You can restrict individual memories to a smaller audience, archive anything from family view, and remove a person's access at any time. Your child's childhood is not searchable, indexable, or visible to anyone you didn't choose.
